Every month, the first place on Google will win 500$, on Yahoo win 200$ and on MSN win 100$, until December. On December, the 1st ranking on Google will win 3000$ + 42" Plasma TV! The 1st on Yahoo will win 2000$ + Sony PSP, and the 1st on MSN 1000$ + iPod!

New design! - 7/12/2006

Hi you,

As you probably saw, our carcasherdotcom seocontest website's design has been changed.

Except the new design, now you can see the validating paragraph, and validate our website.
From today, every post (like this one) will be in its own page.
In the main page you can see a chosen post, and not them all.
The whole posts archive has been moved to seperated page,
there are all the posts from the beginning of the contest until today.

Now we have a RSS channel, there you can be updated (read more at the RSS paragraph).

It's not all, soon I will upload more updates here.
Meanwhile, keep being updated through our blog (the news).

The last month and half of the seocontest

Yeah, you read well! The carcasherdotcom seocontest is about to end. In fact, we have only 44 days until it ends! (correct in the writing time) So how do I spend those last days?? I do a lot of things, but about carcasherdotcom not so much. I add content as much as I can, get more and more links, and do my job more or less... BUT although that, I'm STUCK in 4-6 place!! No matter what I do, I just can't go up than 4th place (which isn't so good), or go down than 6th place (which is very good!) !

A car of the casherdotcom So yeah, I'm pretty stuck here, but it's not end until it ends! I keep trying and do my best. Maybe this brand new and fresh text will help me in my way. By the way, I'm 18th place in Y rankings! Maybe there I will win P:

Who will win this great competition? The time will say! Anyway, I've got a lot of writing about, but I've also got to go now, so I'll continue soon!

An unloved tactic

Something I don't like in seocontests like carcasherdotcom is the common tactic of promoting - I'm talking about founding many many many websites which talks about carcasherdotcom seocontest, and link to one big website of the competitor. This way he got a lot of content-relative links, which really help to the promotion, but with it, the links aren't really natural. I don't like this tactic, even if it really works, and it always works.

In the end, and that's the sad thing, the one who founded the most websites, is the one who wins.

The content should be related to your site subject. You should make it be validated and compatible to the W3C standards. After all that, you need to get links to the site, a lot of links.

Who am I?

My name is Ofir Sonsino. I'm a teenager from Petah - Tikva, Israel.

I have entered to the SEO contest world, before less than a year. My first contest was Fortuno Winnero - I have won it the second place. After that, I have been participating in the backgammon contest - I took 3 first places, and won 5000$. Then I've been participating in the CPayscom online casinos competition, and win second place.
